  3. At last, there is some justice in the Amos world, good old Simon Green of
  4. good old Amiga Shopper gave good old Amoszine a good old fashion plug, 
  5. and what an absolutely stonkingly good old plug it was too!

  7.                       GET THE NEW ZINE ON THE AMOS SCENE

  9. You can imagine my surprise and excitement this month when what should drop
  10. on my metaphirical desk but a brand new AMOS disk mag called "AMOSZINE"
  11. It offers an entertaining mix of Amos news, reviews, competitions and
  12. tutorials. There is plenty of text to read and some interesting source code
  13. too-even I learned something from it! The creators of the mag promise that
  14. each issue will feature the source code to a "Well known" Amos game- a nice
  15. idea since there is no better way to learn than by studying other peoples
  16. work. The authors have obviously been influenced by the style and content of
  17. the more well-known Amiga disk mags such as Grapevine and Raw and this is no
  18. bad thing. The magazine software is, of course, written in Amos and the
  19. interface is very attractive and easy to use. Overall, I was impressed with
  20. the amount of work that had obviously gone into making "Amoszine". Most
  21. importantly, it seems to be supported by a lot of talented and enthusiastic
  22. Amos programmers.

  32. Amoszine is not only written in Amos, it is for people who program in it.
  33. So if you are not a programmer and a fan of Amos, steer clear. The magazine
  34. is sponsored by F1 Licenceware and will cost you £2.25. There is a good
  35. range articles, all Amos related (Well what else did you expect?)
  36. and....well, not much else really. One item features articles taken from 
  37. different magazines of F1 Licenceware products. I was suprised to see one of
  38. mine in there for the game Fortress.  @160%

  42. One of cheapest Amos mags around complete with the source code to a well
  43. know game, Polymorph. There is also an early source version of Black Dawn.
  44. Amoszine still needs to be filled out a bit more and for that it needs you
  45. the Amos user and by heck, there's a lot of you out there. So get to it.
